This presentation will describe a program evaluation project which included development and evaluation of two non-credit, online courses designed by a Catholic university in the U.S for Catholic Sisters in Kenya, Nigeria, and Uganda. The purpose of the courses was to educate and upskill Sisters in Human Trafficking and Project Management. The project created a bridge between the Sisters in Africa and the University and between formal education and applied work in Africa. Likewise, the evaluation of the Sisters' learning, their satisfaction, and the teaching strategies created a bridge between the funder and other grantees as the funder learned more about evaluation methodologies and the impact of evaluation on their work. The evaluators' situational competencies were used to design and implement an evaluation plan in a unique context involving several cultures and socio-political philosophies. They drew on extensive experience with the provision of higher education online. Knowledge building strategies were applied to enhance stakeholders' evaluation skills.
